It was on television that I saw Corsica the first time. Then on a pocketbook written by Robert Ludlum (I am not sure of the precise author) the second time. But visiting it is an entirely different thing. France and anything French is always viewed as luxurious and expensive and high quality. Fashion is one of the France travel ideas.

France as a leading country in terms of fashion has made other countries envious of the fact that it is always on the top. Its influence has sipped through the different corners of the world and even on little and minute things. People just love anything French from French windows to French bread, these people had not even yet had a glimpse of the beauty of France much more if they did so.

Bordeaux alone with take your breath away from the group of bars and shopping arenas to the several tourist attraction that you can bathe yourself of. Train is the best means of travel. You can cover great distances with the train but you would miss the nitty gritty part of the travel unless you stop from one destination to another.

Skiing is one activity that you will enjoy in France. The place has a full equipped skiing location that you can choose from. If you wanted to enjoy the beach for the summer then let yourself visit the country during the summer season.

Of course in every France travel you should not miss the French cuisine. This time you should really seek a respectable local inn or restaurant in which the locals patronizes. Why? For you are assured that you are served the best French cuisine in the land in a cheaper price.

With the French food there must be a French wine. French has cooked food for the Gods and fermented for the pleasure of heaven; this I was told during my visit. Then as you gaze among the wine bottles for a night’s pick then do not miss Merlots as it was considered as the most carnal wine in the whole world. Wines should a must in every France tourism.

France is a country located in Western Europe. It has several territories and overseas islands on the other continents. The name France is derived from the Latin word Francia, meaning Land of the Franks. Evolutions transformed France until this recent time that includes some of their culture, ways of life and food. Basically, aside from the impressive monuments, astonishing sculptures and friendly people; France has also been famous worldwide due to the unique taste of their cuisines. France cuisine comes from the different variations and only the Chinese having similar type of their foods. French people are already known as food lovers, which resulted France as one of the countries that serve the best cuisine all over the world.

The other reason why French cuisine is different from the other countries is because of the influence of its long history, incredible climate and geographies that supported in the production of all types of ingredients and the culture itself. Tasting French foods is one ways of understanding the life and culture of France. So for your best France travel vacation, start it through tasting their foods. But it would be nicer if aside from tasting you will also know the cooking styles of France. This would help you better understand the culture of France.

Cuisine Nouvelle—this French style of cooking was developed in the 1970s. It is the responses against the classical school of cooking. It is lighter and simpler and the portions are less rich and smaller. The heavy cream sauces are already avoided and the cooking is quicker and less complicated. This style of French cooking as well emphasized the seasonal and local ingredients.

The Classical French Cuisine—basically includes all the classical French dishes. The foods are from regional and the foods being served are rich in filling, many dishes that uses cream-based sauces.

The Cuisine du terroir—this French cooking style is more bucolic in nature and it focuses on regional specialties. The main focuses are the food traditions and local produce.

France is keeping up with making its culture and heritage simpler for tourists to appreciate. If you are updated on the changes for the current year, it will help to make prospective visits in the future to go smoothly. Moreover, you can enjoy fresh air in restaurants, bars and cafes throughout France, this is due to a smoking ban. If you’re traveling in France through railpass, it is always important to book your trips in advance via TGV bullet trains. There are a limited number of seats allowable for railpass holders. However, with the price of gas getting higher, and the notion that railway travel means going green along the way, you can expect train transports to be more crowded.

The transit system in Paris has set up a chip card called Passe Navigo Decouverte, but most tourists find the “carnets”, which are packs of ten individual tickets to still be better off. The new Passe is around $27, runs straight from Monday to Sunday and necessitates a photo making it not shareable. In comparison, a 10-ticket pack costs around $14 and is shareable plus with no expiration date.

Moreover, a new online reservation method for the Eiffel Tower debut in 2009 is allowing tourists to reserve a half-hour slot of time in order to avoid disreputable lines. The markets in Paris delight a lot of visitors. While rue Cler has become quite a tourist destination, rue des Martyrs is apparently more popular, and proves to be an outstanding way to hook up with workaday Paris. If you would love to do the “Time Warp” again, you can take pleasure in the cult movie “Rocky Horror Picture Show” with a French crowd in the Latin Quarter during Friday and Saturday nights.

On the French Riviera, the entry fee for all city museums is dropped. Essentially every site in town except the Russian Cathedral and Chagall Museum is free to answer. Antibes is just a short jump away by train and has at last opened its valued Picasso Museum after massive renovation. In the end, regardless of what changes that develops in France at present, visiting the country is always a pleasure, which is the reason why it remains the top destination in Europe.

Regardless of the condition of the economy, people discern the state of the world in terms of the weather and by the food they eat and wine they choose to drink, at least in most special occasions. According to Andrew Jefford, a British writer of the book “The New France”, which was greatly perceptive about the indispensable characteristics and elements of a wine.

A merlot was described as “the most carnal of the world’s red wines.’ But a guide to enjoying wines is all a matter of one’s personal discerning taste, rather than drinking merely for pleasure. When selecting wine, it is inevitable to ask whether one is better than the other, and in most cases there aren’t many different concepts, only different approaches. If you can distinguish between a homemade cooking to a processed fast food, you will find that a more suitable comparison is to recognize that both fills in the stomach but are not equally healthy.

If you are generally interested in wine and finds passion for it easily, moving or visiting to France will let you appreciate it even more. It is comes as no surprise to have a say about the country’s troubled wine industry that is encumbered by a well-established bureaucracy, inability to compete with less-regulated states and changing society. However, there is only very little we understand about the fullness and depth of the bond between French and their wine.

While a trip around the French landscape exposes to a variety of dishes that never make its way to French restaurants in America, getting in touch with French wines and exposing one self to an authentic few that are locally made such as Château Mossé of Roussillon, Domaine Borrely-Martin of Provence and Domaine des Tres Cantous of Gaillac. Now that the most special time of the year is hear, serving the most special wines to go with the most special food for the holiday preparation sums up a perfect combination. This may not be your kind of wine that gains one spurs as an expert, but it certainly create a valuable sense of humility at how much is there to learn in a relishing gulp only in France.

If you like France, you will love French. After all, admiring something means loving the whole of it, at most cases. Knowing how to speak the language of everybody’s favorite place will not only make you feel being part of but being one of it. French is not only hard enough just listening to it, it’s harder to actually speak it. But there is something to “French” that drives my fascination to passion. It is sophisticated. For one, notice the manner French people use their tongue and guide their mouth when speaking, unconsciously. They have no idea how fascinating it is just listening to them talking. Besides the natural flow (like the way we speak our lingo) is art and sophistication. There is art in its diction. There is sophistication in its accent and pronunciation. There is beauty in it as a whole. No wonder France and everything there is, is not hard to love. Believe me you will know what I’m talking about when you get yourself in a good direction.

Have you noticed that second to English, the universal language, French is the only language being taught to almost every country in the world. I would not wonder why everybody loves France as much as the language is concerned. In many countries French has a significant role in the international language as much as in matters concerning administrative. And in most schools French is taught with a specific category as the French subject. Come to think of it, should it means nothing and only answers insignificance, how come the languages of the Middle East are not the ones being taught instead? And Singapore is a stunning city too, how come Malay isn’t taught? And there are just as many tourists there is in some other gorgeous countries as there is in France but why not their languages not given the opportunity to be brought in universally? Why French? Well, if you did not know French is used significantly in some parts of these places Algeria, Andorra, Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, Cape Verde, Dominica, Egypt, Greece, Grenada, Guinea-Bissau, India, Italy, Laos, Lebanon, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Poland, Switzerland, Syria, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States (Louisiana, New England) and Vatican City. Now without further exposition, I’m sure you can now figure out why “YOU CAN SPEAK FRENCH” too.

As a language teacher here in New York City- traveling to France to polish my French is a dream comes true. It is like being given a gold watch
for a birthday gift. Some tourist plunge themselves to the most fantastic cities of France like Paris, Cannes, Bordeaux, or Nice and bask themselves in France’s historical sights and enjoy its fabulous nightlife- but not me because I searched France cities with shops of the famous Louis Vuitton.

On my itinerary my first stop is to look for a Louis Vuitton boutique and try to touch one of his bags and look at it as if I’m gonna buy.(Well, I don’t have that many cash!).

The bags of Louis Vuitton are very exclusive and expensive. Even though there are shops that offer imitation Louis Vuitton bags for those people who want the look and not the cost people still love to have the authentic ones. Authentic Louis Vuitton bags can only be bought directly through the designer’s shops.

Louis Vuitton has burst into the fashion scene with the increase of popularity of its luggage business through the years. Yet, what I love most in these Loiuse vuitton collections from the choices of blouse, shoes, dresses, luggage- is the famous and expensive bags.

Louis Vuitton’s bags collection is a status symbol. If you have the money flaunt it with Louis Vuitton’s colletions. And it all started from France. This is one shopping spree you could miss. You cannot visit France without bringing something from Louis Vuittons collection either the authentic one or the replica ones. This is one fantastic show off and proof of visiting France.

One of the talks about bags right now is what they call as the “Frankenstein’s monster” bag that is worth 45,000 dollars. Everybody is raving about it and was shocked when they saw it flaunted on the walkway. Yet, after a while it was sold out! That is how influential Louis Vuitton is in the fashion world. Even the not so good to eyes will really look wonderful to the eyes of the many. What is so special about that bag is that it will catch the attention of the passersby since it is so odd looking.

But now Loius Vuitton sells a lot of things already. Go Loius Vuitton all the way. See the authentic bags from fabulous botiques in France. So, France is always in the international fashion limelight. Thanks to Loius Vuitton.

It is also one of the largest countries in Western Europe, where you can witness the different weather they have. Paris is a capital city of France, where the famous tower buildings are located. As you heard that a country of France is one of the rising places in the world in terms of economy. The foreign countries like in country of Britain and America. Mostly people who visited France invested on something just to be a part of France investors. But before planning to invest France, study first their special occasions as well as their culture, and to be able for you to inform the days were they have holidays. Before the investors cross the country of France, they usually study first the traditions, foods, places and especially the economy in France.

Do you know France has famous bread? And yes they called it “baguette” its famous stick bread where you can usually found it in bakeshop everywhere within France. Through experience eating this kind of sticks bread, bakers assure you that it tastes delicious even though it’s hard and flavorless but it’s truly taste good. These stick bread is a usual bread that French community really enjoy to eat. You can normally see those French people while having their grocery; baguette stick bread is always present in their cart. The Asian countries follow the techniques in baking of bread in France. Mostly, these Asian people go to France to copy and study France’s technique in baking bread and to cook special food. That is why baguette stick bread can be now found in any countries within Asia. But baguette stick bread is in fact originated in the country of France. The fact is France is also well-known of being good in baking pizza, through their ingredients like tomatoes, bacon, and cheese and so on. There pizza is one of the famous foods we had nowadays; even in the other country they imitate how to bake a French pizza.

The country of France has special holidays were all the big and small shops are usually close. Sundays is usually the day off of all workers in France, this is the day were they can be with their family, doing something fun but some of them attending a Sunday mass since few of them are Roman Catholic. In fact Sunday is a day were you can see all the different French people, who often see in the park hanging out with friends and family, we also called it family day. French community is known as a romantic people, approachable and easy to be with, whereas other countries are not. But most importantly in traveling other places just don’t forget to study their traditions first, to be able to know how to approach them in a nice way.

OF course, it’s none other than the wedding of their president himself, Nicholas Sarkozy, to an Italian model by the name of Carla Bruni. You’ve got to admire the guts of the guy. Amid international scrutiny by the paparazzi, Sarkozy proceeded with the wedding anyway despite very harsh criticism that he is mingling personal affairs with the affairs of the state. And indeed he is. Nicholas Sarkozy and the new first lady of France is spending honeymoon with a tour at the Taj Mahal in India with his visit there dubbed as an official one. And he doesn’t care what his critics are saying. All he cares about is that he has forged numerous economic agreements with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh which can be mutually good for people of both countries.

One of the side agreements signed during the trip of Mr. Sarkozy is for Universite de Paris to lure in more foreign students from India and not just in the Agra region where Taj Mahal is located. Mr. Sarkozy likewise sees that there are numerous regions in India where French business interests can be tapped. There’s the seaside tourism industry in Goa where he notes can become the next tropical paradise similar to Phuket in France or even Palma de Mallorca in Spain. French IT companies can also lavishly invest in such regions as Bangalore where United States-based IT firms such as Palm and EarthLink have long established their affiliates and outsourced work there. Mr. Sarkozy also notes that there can be collaboration between the prolific French film industry and Bollywood which is based in Mumbai. He envisions that the two industries can have better earnings if they work together to compete with Hollywood films.

The French film industry is already gaining ground and applause at the Hollywood film sector this year in time for the 80th Academy Awards come February 25. There are two great French films coming out this year. I’ll discuss the lesser beautiful one and save the most awesome later. The first one is a biography of the great French singer Edith Piaf and the movie is called La Vie en Rose. La Vie en Rose stars Marion Cotillard, a nobody who was catapulted to fame with no less than two acting nominations in her armpit right now – the Screen Actors Guild award and of course the Oscar Best Actress nomination. Once you have been nominated with an Oscar, it is just like winning one already. That’s a prestige in itself.

The second movie worth noting is The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. I don’t know why then Elle editor Jean Dominique Bauby titled his book just like that but The Diving Bell and the Butterfly is his biography. It’s the horrific experience of someone who’s the perfect epitome of a dead man walking – only he is not walking at all. The guy suffers from Locked-In Syndrome, a medical phenomenon earlier explored in one of the episodes of House.
